About Lion Festival
“Seeing such a positive player response so early is a rewarding reflection of the hard work and dedication that has gone into bringing Dream Drop to market. We’re excited to build on this momentum and encourage Danish operators looking to elevate their jackpot offering to discover what Dream Drop can do for their casinos and their players,” Smith added.
FDJ United Director of Casino and Gaming David Robertson was similarly pleased with the opportunity to see his company strengthen its content offering with brand-new types of content.
“We’re delighted to launch Relax Gaming’s Dream Drop jackpot product, and the initial response from our players has been fantastic. Our ethos is all about creating moments that really matter for players, and Dream Drop does just that,” Robertson said, adding that the company cannot wait for the first Dream Drop millionaire to materialize in Denmark.

The implications could extend well beyond companies already established in other areas of gaming.
“You shouldn’t necessarily need 100 people and millions of euros of infrastructure to have a great idea and turn it into a successful slot,” Curwen says.
Lower barriers to entry could significantly widen the pool of potential game creators. Curwen sees opportunities not only for established and emerging studios, but for operators, suppliers, entrepreneurs and potentially entirely new entrants.
About Lion Festival
Spillemyndigheden said it contributed actively to this work and sat on FATF’s gaming sector working group. The regulator confirmed that many of the indicators in the report carry relevance for operators licensed in Denmark.
FATF’s warning on illegal and offshore gambling will resonate in Denmark. Last year, Spillemyndigheden secured a court order to block 178 unlicensed gambling sites, the largest such action in the regulator’s history.
The case highlighted how illegal operators disguise their presence through multiple site variations, a tactic the FATF report also flags as a red flag indicator.
